This comprehensive course offers a deep dive into the nuances of compensation structure, pay transparency, and equity in the workplace. Led by industry experts from Compa, the course begins with April Tofanelli introducing the fundamentals of compensation and how various pay elements culminate into a total rewards package. It then proceeds to explore the impact of pay transparency on recruitment, the art of leveraging compensation structures to attract candidates, and crafting an optimal job offer, all guided by CEO Charlie Franklin, Head of Sales Bobby Dysart, and Market Data Lead Zach Carlson.

The course places significant emphasis on fairness, competitiveness, and cost considerations, providing learners with effective strategies to navigate negotiations and approve job offers. The final lesson, again with April Tofanelli, addresses the critical issue of achieving pay equity and the pivotal role of the initial offer in this endeavor. Through the lessons, students will be empowered with the knowledge and techniques to ensure fairness and competitiveness in job offers, underscored by the effective use of real-time market data and close collaboration with the compensation team.
